My story
Hi, my name is Emete – you can call me Em – and I’m crazy about cakes. I started Friddle’s Cakes in 2014, turning what had been a part-time hobby into a full-time career. I’ve always been a creative person and I started my working life as a graphic designer. After 20 years with some top London agencies I decided to channel all my creativity into my “side hustle” … and it just grew and grew. You could say I’ve got cake on the brain: I love coming up with new ideas and designs and I’m constantly thinking about my next creation. Each and every cake I take on is a labour of love and a real collaboration with you, the customer. I want to bring your vision to life and make sure you have the perfect sweet treat, whatever the occasion.
I started out in my South East London kitchen and now I’ve got my own cake studio in Greenwich. I offer a delivery service within the M25, although if you want a wedding cake I’ll go the (extra) extra mile. So what are you waiting for?
