My story

Hi, my name is Emete, but you can call me Em. I founded Friddle’s Cakes in 2014, transforming what started as a part-time hobby into a full-time career.  As a naturally creative person, I began my professional journey as a graphic designer. After spending 20 years with various top agencies in London, I decided to dedicate my creativity to this side project, and it just kept growing. You could say I’ve got cake on the brain! I love brainstorming new ideas and designs, and I’m always thinking about my next creation.

Every cake I make is a labour of love and a true collaboration with you, the customer. My goal is to bring your vision to life and ensure you have the perfect sweet treat for any occasion. I initially started baking in my kitchen in South East London, but now I have my own cake studio in Greenwich. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s create something delicious together!
