FAQs

Everything you need to know about purchasing a cake from us.

What flavours do the cakes come in?

Our standard cake is a vanilla sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream and that’s what we use as the starting point for any quote. The cake is coated with a decadent white chocolate ganache. You can stop there or we can decorate with icing/fondant.

Other flavours available are:

  • Vanilla sponge with toffee and caramel buttercream
  • Vanilla sponge with peaches and cream buttercream
  • Vanilla sponge with chocolate chips and vanilla buttercream or chocolate buttercream.
  • Vanilla sponge with Oreo buttercream
  • Champagne sponge with champagne buttercream
  • Chocolate fudge with chocolate buttercream or Oreo buttercream
  • Luscious lemon sponge with lemon buttercream
  • Red velvet with vanilla buttercream
  • White chocolate and raspberry sponge with vanilla buttercream
  • Carrot cake with vanilla buttercream
Do you cater for people with allergies?

We do our best to cater for all allergies and dietary requirements so let us know what you need. We do not put nuts in cakes unless you request them. However we do store nuts in our studio and the icing we use comes from a factory which handles nuts. All products are halal.

Do I need to collect my cake in person?

Yes, unless otherwise agreed. Cakes can be collected from our studio at 16 Highbridge Wharf, Greenwich SE10 9PS. We will give you a time slot when we confirm your order.

We can deliver, but this needs to be booked in advance, and sometimes it’s not possible. We deliver small cakes within the M25. For much larger cakes of three tiers or more or wedding cakes we can go the extra mile. Please note that delivery costs will be additional to the cost of the cake.

Can I cancel?

Unfortunately deposits are not refundable. However, if you need to cancel you can use that deposit at a later date for another order, knowing it’s safe. You can make your cake bigger or smaller… but we need at least five days’ notice for any changes or cancellations. All we ask is that you let us know as soon as you know!

How should I store my cake?

Unless we say otherwise, do not refrigerate your cake. Store it in a cool, dry place away from heat.

How should I cut my cake?

The best way to cut your cake is in slices, very much like a wedding cake. Check out our video highlights on Instagram if you are unsure.

What’s my cake’s shelf life?

You should eat your cake within a week of the day we baked it. Please ask us what that date is when you collect your cake.
